‘Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires’ Joins the Disney Legacy

*Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires is set to take over Disney Channel on July 10, 2025, and will stream worldwide on Disney+ the next day.

As the fourth chapter in the hit *Zombies* franchise, the new installment follows fan-favorite characters Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donnelly) on their most supernatural adventure yet.

This time around, Zed and Addison find themselves as camp counselors for two rival monster factions—Daywalkers and Vampires—while on what was supposed to be a relaxing summer road trip.

Together with their friends Eliza (Kylee Russell) and Willa (Chandler Kinney), the duo works to unite the fiercely divided camps before a greater threat takes hold. The movie introduces brand new characters and brings even more drama, music, and heart to the beloved franchise.

New Blood: Meet Nova and Victor

Freya Skye and Malachi Barton join the *Zombies* universe as Nova and Victor, leaders of the Daywalkers and Vampires. EURweb associate Kenny Pettus Jr. caught up with the rising stars to hear what it’s like stepping into such a massive Disney legacy.

“It’s incredible,” said Freya. “Growing up, Disney was everything to me. Getting to step into the *Zombies* franchise, which I was already a fan of, was such a dream come true. There was pressure, sure, but mostly just excitement.”

Malachi agreed, saying, “It’s nerve-wracking stepping into a franchise that’s so loved. But Milo and Meg made us feel so welcomed. It was like working with family.”

On Set Vibes and Instant Chemistry

Freya and Malachi both said their first days on set felt surreal but comforting. With Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim serving as on-screen leaders and real-life mentors, the new cast felt right at home.

“Milo was like a brother on set,” said Malachi. “Meg felt like a sister. We already kind of knew each other from other Disney stuff, so it clicked right away.”

That natural chemistry translated on screen and helped create authentic dynamics between the factions. Behind the scenes, the cast bonded over rehearsals, dance numbers, and plenty of laughs.

If They Had TikToks, What Would Nova and Victor Post?

When asked what kind of content their characters would post if they had TikTok accounts, the actors had hilarious and creative answers.

“Nova would 100% be into TikTok dances,” Freya said. “She’d do all the trending routines with Victor. They’d probably have a couple’s TikTok, honestly. She’d be all about group videos and slaying every move.”

Malachi added, “Victor would be more into promo TikToks—like those guys who do fake ads. He’d be like, ‘Hey synthetics, here’s what I use for this hair,’ and then tag it in TikTok Shop. He’d totally be a lowkey influencer.”

Building Their Characters From the Ground Up

Both Freya and Malachi shared how much input they had in shaping Nova and Victor—thanks to director Paul Hoen’s collaborative style.

“Paul was amazing,” said Malachi. “He actually welcomed our ideas. It’s rare to work with a director who says, ‘Let’s build this character together.’ That creative freedom meant so much.”

Freya added that it helped her bring depth and originality to Nova. “I could bring my own energy and ideas to the role, and that made her feel real to me. It was empowering.”

Hopes for Their Legacy in the Zombies Franchise

So what do they want their *Zombies* debut to leave behind?

“We want to inspire the next generation of *Zombies* fans,” Freya said. “The way *Zombies* inspired us to perform and act, we hope Nova and Victor can do that for someone else.”

Malachi added, “It’s hard to talk about legacy after just one film, but I’m excited to see what comes next. If there’s a *Zombies 5*, I hope we get to grow these characters even more and really build something meaningful.”

The Magic of Zombies 4

With 13 original songs and a new twist on supernatural conflict, *Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires* brings a fresh energy to the series while honoring its roots. The first single, “The Place to Be,” sets the tone with Zed and Addison diving into the world of Vampires and Daywalkers. The second single, “Don’t Mess With Us,” released in June, shows off the fierce vibes these rival groups bring to Seabrook’s latest drama.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering the franchise, *Zombies 4* promises unforgettable music, heartfelt lessons, and a message of unity through diversity. Don’t miss the premiere this July—it’s going to be fang-tastic.
