Microsoft Gaming boss Phil Spencer had already teased gamers about this during the Xbox Games Showcase. To mark its 25th anniversary next year, Xbox will be offering at least three titles from its biggest franchises.
The CEO of the American giant’s video game division reiterated this during his interview for the official Xbox podcast.
"I wanted to make sure that some of the licenses that we talked about and didn’t show this year, that people know that when you think of Fable, Gears, Forza, these franchises that have shaped Xbox will be part of the lineup next year. I love the games we’ve been able to launch so far in 2025, and we’ll have a big year-end as well. And when I look at 2026, for our 25th anniversary, and the franchises we’ll be launching over that period, I think it’s going to be a very special year for Xbox."
