Worms Across Worlds is the latest iteration in the hit turn-based multiplayer series, coming soon to Apple Arcade

- Worms Across Worlds is Team17’s newest release in the Worms franchise
- Coming to Apple Arcade it offers a vast, multiverse-travelling campaign
- Enjoy all the iconic fun of the Worms franchise with an array of weapons and gadgets to choose from
I think there are very few people out there who haven’t played something from the Worms series by Team17 and found it fun. There’s nothing quite as thrilling as sending your friend flying through the air and off the map with a well-timed rocket. And with the upcoming Worms Across Worlds, Apple Arcade fans can now experience that same thrilling fun for themselves!
Worms Across Worlds, as you might expect, sees you taking a trip across the multiverse to foil the evil Professor Worminkle and stop him from destroying the universe. That means duking it out in a diverse series of levels and areas ranging from the familiar to the weird, such as Jelly, Origami and Lava worlds.
Worms Across Worlds boasts its own campaign mode, with 12 chapters and 100 missions you can enjoy either solo or with a friend in couch co-op. Meanwhile, you also have all the features you’re familiar with from the Worms series, including local multiplayer and quick matches against AI.
Wormed away
The Worms series puts you in the shoes of one of these titular little critters, where your objective is to blast your opponent off a fully destructible map with all manner of weapons. With that in mind, then, Worms Across Worlds doesn’t look set to depart from the formula except with the addition of new and wacky battlegrounds.
I’ll be interested to see how Worms Across Worlds turns out, and how well it’s received by fans when it arrives on an expected release date of August 7th. Here’s hoping we’ll one day get a release on Android and iOS proper too!
