A woman has been injured after being struck by a light rail train in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, on Saturday evening.
Police reported that the incident occurred at the MTR Light Rail Depot stop in Tuen Mun at around 6pm. The train was travelling in the direction of Yuen Long.
According to the police spokesman, the woman was trapped underneath the train and was subsequently rescued by firefighters, before being transported to Tuen Mun Hospital.
The MTR Corporation stated at around 7.20pm that the accident scene had been cleared and that the Light Rail service was gradually resuming.
