The trend is towards studio cancellations and closures. Now it’s the turn of Techland, the Polish studio behind the Dying Light franchise, to be affected.
According to a recent report, Techland recently decided to cancel two of its games currently in production. One of these projects would be a fantasy RPG based on a new license. This title had been confirmed in March 2023 and was to be "a fantasy narrative adventure with an exotic open world to explore".
Another project is said to have been launched internally to compensate for these two cancellations.
