During her piece, Becky was explaining to viewers about the Foehn Effect when she made the epic slip-up.
Becky said to the camera: “When the wind hits a mountain it is forced upwards.
“As the air heads upwards, it cools and the moisture in the air condenses forming clouds and rain.
“Not much sunshine out either of course with that cloud and rain so it is feeling pretty s*** chilly on this side of the mountain.”
Her foul-mouthed blunder did not go unnoticed by viewers watching along in the early evening either.
One fan who saw the blunder commented: “Becky Mantin telling it like it is on @itvnews.”
Another added alongside a sea of laughing face emojis: “Becky Mantin saying s*** weather tonight.”
As another said of the sweary slip-up: “It was immense.”
Becky has been at the heart of ITV weather for more than past 20 years.
Before entering the world of weather, she first worked with ITV and other broadcasters in various presenting roles.
She presented the lunchtime magazine show Home Malone on local channel ITV Anglia as well as being their fashion correspondent.
Becky was then the face of the consumer show Late Night Checkout before becoming a news reporter at various stations including Channel 5 and Sky.
In February 2005, she was hired as ITV Weather’s permanent weather girl and her popularity soared that much that she was handed the coveted role of summer holiday cover presenter on This Morning.
She co-presented the show with Denise Van Outen and Richard Bacon in 2005.
The star has four children that she shares with professional rugby coach husband Jack Heald.
