While some may not gel with Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus’ gameplay, you can’t deny that it offers a truly authentic 40k experience, right down to Imperium factions getting way more attention than anyone else. Completely coincidentally, the new faction is none other than the Adeptus Custodes!
Alright, my gripes with the Golden Boys aside, the Adeptus Custodes bring a new epoch of power to the battlefield. The Emperor’s own personal bodyguard, these are the Superman to the Space Marines’ Captain America, and boast the finest in terms of armaments and equipment, not to mention being absolutely massive.
Shield-Captain Trajann Valoris will lead the charge of the new Custodes faction in an upcoming Legendary event kicking off this month. Arriving May 24th, this Survival Event is a brutal gauntlet that’ll test the mettle of anyone, even the Adeptus Custodes themselves!

Coming as part of the Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase (which also saw the unveiling of Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000), it’s not exactly surprising that Tacticus wanted to go with a major faction. So, sadly, Leagues of Votann fans will be waiting a while before they arrive just yet.
