Viladia: Pixie Paradise is a Stardew-like that lets you build your own farm, out on Android

  • Viladia: Pxie Paradise is a retro farming sim in the vein of Stardew Valley
  • But you aren’t just cultivating your own farm, you’re also building a village
  • Decorate with a variety of items, help your friends by trading and cultivate your own crops

Be it Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, or Stardew Valley, the farm sim genre is one that has a legion of fans, including those you wouldn’t expect to be gamers. So it’s no surprise that many developers riff on this genre with their own take, as is the case with Viladia: Pixie Paradise and its thoroughly retro take on the genre.

Viladia proudly wears its inspiration on its sleeve, with your character tasked with developing their own farm, harvesting crops and slowly growing it into a sprawling swathe of greenery. You’ll be able to furnish your home as you unlock new decorations while completing missions for rewards.

Where Viladia does stand out, however, is in the scale that it’s going for. You won’t just be creating your own farm but also your own small village, expanding it with more farms, shops and houses. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to customise it with seasonal and rare items to personalise it even further.

The life agricultural

Viladia is pretty much a grab-bag of all the other aspects we’ve seen in the aforementioned classics of the genre. But it’s definitely feature-rich with the multiplayer aspects of Animal Crossing, where you can visit and interact with other players, the farming and cultivation of Animal Crossing, as well as the ability to actually expand and create your own village.

And yes, it does have fishing. Viladia certainly has all the features one would expect from a success, we’ll just have to wait and see how it’s received. iOS fans who are waiting can rest assured that a July release date is on the cards.

If Viladia gives you a taste for farming, fishing, and all that good stuff, then you’re in luck. Because mobile is absolutely packed with examples of top releases, such as Viladia. Check out our list of the top eight mobile games like Stardew Valley to find even more!
