It’s been an eventful week in the video game industry. Electronic Arts has closed another studio, and now an independent developer has been hit by redundancies.
Playtonic Games, the team behind Yooka-Laylee, has suffered an unknown number of departures. But if we are to believe a post published on LinkedIn, at least 14 employees have been let go.
Playtonic Games is due to release Yooka-Replaylee this year.
