If you’ve been hungry for some ARPG action, and nothing currently on the menu can seem to satisfy you, then you’re in luck! Because like cheese and wine, some things get better with age. Which is exactly the case with the newly released remaster of the classic series Fate: Reawakened, now available to purchase on iOS and Android.

Veteran players amongst you will instantly recognise the name Fate and its contributions to the ARPG genre that inspired other classics such as Torchlight. But for those not in the know, this pioneering series, which kicked off in 2005, now brings all four of its original entries to mobile with the Fate: Reawakened collection.

What can you expect? Nothing (for better, or worse) than pure, isometric dungeon-crawling fun. Whether you’re playing a sword-wielding warrior, spellcaster or otherwise, no class restrictions mean that you’re free to mix and match your abilities as you see fit while plying the endless depths of an enormous dungeon.

Of course, Fate: Reawakened may have had a fresh coat of paint with new textures, modern conveniences and effects, but at its heart, this is still a classic dungeon crawler. That may be off-putting to some of you used to the flashier and more provocative side of things, but there are a lot of reasons to give Fate a go.

Procedural generation means each adventure is different, while four whole entries mean you’ll have hours of playtime in one purchase, and international players can now enjoy Fate in German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese!
