Angelina Jolie Made Son Pax ‘Sign a Contract’ to Wear a Helmet (EXCL)

Pax Jolie-Pitt has finally been scared straight by his recent road accidents, according to a source, who exclusively tells In Touch mom Angelina Jolie is now laying down extremely strict conditions before allowing him back on the road.

“She’d love it if Pax would take these accidents as a warning and give up on this need for speed, but that’s very unlikely,” the insider says.

First, Pax, 21, totaled his Tesla in May 2024, but luckily walked away from that crash without any injuries. He smashed the vehicle into a parked truck outside RED Studios Hollywood, according to TMZ. Though, that particular accident wasn’t enough to keep him out of the fast lane, especially on his preferred method of transportation — his e-bike.

In July 2024, the adopted son of Brad Pitt and Angie, 49, suffered horrific injuries after another accident, this time on that e-bike, which required hospitalization.

Lola Cavalli, one of the first people on the scene of the accident, told Entertainment Weekly she called 911 immediately after witnessing the crash and even applied pressure to the young man’s head as he bled on the pavement.

“I was directed to apply pressure at the site where it was bleeding,” she recounted.

“His mouth was filled with blood. When [he] was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth,” she added. “We did everything we thought would be necessary to make sure that the ambulance arrived, and [to make sure] oncoming traffic from both directions keeps on moving, instead of piling up, which would make our ambulance’s approach impossible completely.”

Pax was then brought directly to the ICU, where a different source told People doctors declared that he “suffered complex trauma,” and would now have to start a “long road of recovery and physical therapy.”

He was seen sporting a gnarly scar above his eye in January, after being released from the ICU, but even that terrifying incident wasn’t enough to keep him off the road. That same month he was involved in another e-bike accident after allegedly attempting some dangerous stunts, though he escaped with minor injuries.

The first source notes Pax developed his penchant for reckless behavior after a childhood spent “out on dune buggies, racing around the sand in Santa Barbara,” with dad Brad, 61.

“It was obvious he loved the thrill of going fast. [Angelina] didn’t see anything wrong with it at the time, but she regrets feeding into that now. But what can she do? He’s an adult and she can’t stop him from riding his electric bike.”

“She does at least want him to take some defensive driving lessons before he gets back out there, he’s agreed to that as part of the consequences of the crash. And she’s made him sign a contract promising he’ll always wear his helmet.”

“It’s still going to give her anxiety every time he leaves the house on his bike, all she can do is hope that Pax is realizing how lucky he is to be alive with his brain intact and that he will act more responsibly on the road going forward.”
