Tori Spelling says ex Dean McDermott worked her ‘90210’ character’s name in during sex

Tori Spelling gained a lot of fans as Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210, but some, including her ex Dean McDermott, may have taken their love for her character a bit too far.

In the most recent episode of her podcast MisSPELLING, the actress answered questions from her fans. One listener wanted to know if anyone had ever asked Spelling to role-play as Martin in the bedroom. Although she hasn’t gotten this request yet, it’s not something she would agree to do.

“If I was intimate with a man and he was like, ‘Will you role-play, like, will you act like Donna Martin?,’ that would really creep me out,” she said.

However, Spelling shared that McDermott, who she said was a fan of 90210 back when it aired in the ’90s and would watch her show after playing hockey with his friends, once called out her character’s name during sex.

“At some point during one of, you know, our sessions during sex, he said, ‘Oh, my little Donna Martin,'” she revealed, before adding, “I might have giggled back like Donna.”

Spelling acknowledged that the line between herself and Donna Martin, especially during the height of 90210, was “blurry.”

Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott last year after 18 years of marriage. They share five children.

The actress recently shared that she’s seeking a “monogamous situationship” in the aftermath of her split.
