Should couples really be getting frisky while waiting in line at Disney World? Jenna Bush Hager and Dwyane Wade have mixed opinions.
During Wednesday’s episode of Today, the daytime TV anchor and the former NBA star, who is serving as a guest host this week, reacted to a recent PopSugar report that claimed couples often end up packing on the PDA at theme parks because of adrenaline, a feeling of anonymity, or simply as a way to pass the time in line.
“How do you feel, though?” Wade asked Hager about lovey-dovey theme park behavior. “Like when you see it, when you see people getting it in, how do you feel?”

The Utah Jazz co-owner’s unique phrasing of the question immediately caught Hager’s attention. “I like how you say ‘getting it in,’” she teased as the rest of the crew laughed offscreen. “That sounds like… not television. Getting it in sounds like Max!”
Wade quickly clarified what “getting it in” entailed. “They’re getting that time in that they probably don’t get to have,” he pointed out, before bursting into laughter himself and reaching to take a quick sip of his drink.
It’s a hard pass for Hager. “I don’t love when people are getting it in,” she admitted. “I don’t love it. I don’t know. I’m not against it. And I’m snuggly and stuff, but like, full-on making out in an amusement park with Mickey ears and stuff kinda grosses me out.”
Wade, however, is all for a Space Mountain smooch should the occasion present itself. “I like love!” he explained. “So wherever you find a moment to take that time and show your partner some love, like, go ahead! Get in there!”
In fact, ever a team player, he’d even cheer on a couple if he spotted them getting cuddly. “I walk by somebody, I’d be like, ‘Get in there, bro!’ I’m that guy,” he said as Hager laughed. “I might hit him with a high five, ‘Hey, bro, good job!’ You know, like, why not? We need a little bit more love in this world.”
Hager quipped, “That’s right! And life is short, we should just go to amusement parks and make out with our spouses!”

She went on to explain that she doesn’t typically view theme parks as being conducive to romance because they typically leave her feeling sweaty or frazzled.
“I think there’s always a point at an amusement park when you lose it,” Hager said. “Where you’re just like, ‘Who am I? I’ve had like 77 donuts.’ You feel sick, you’re kinda dizzy from the rides. Do you have that moment?”
And, honestly, Wade, who visits theme parks often with his children, could not relate.
“I don’t do all that,” he said. “I’m there for a certain purpose, and that’s to get to these rides and get up out of here.”
