The Nintendo Switch 2 will be released worldwide on June 5. In addition to a handful of already-announced exclusives, third-party publishers are also heavily backing the console.
The 10 games in this selection benefit, or will benefit, from the performance of the Switch 2 and its new features such as GameChat and mouse mode. 4K and framerates of up to 120 FPS are also featured on several of these titles.
A must-have game on the Switch 2 at launch, Mario Kart World is a must-have in every gamer’s game library. With its highly addictive “Survival” mode, colorful open world and ultra-dynamic 24-driver races, it has everything it takes to become one of the franchise’s best entries. We can assume that new features will be added over time.
In terms of upcoming exclusives, Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will make the most of all the options offered by the Switch 2. Whether with their exemplary fluidity, their detailed universe or even their gameplay possibilities, these two first-party titles are eagerly awaited!
But the Switch 2 also offers a well-deserved second youth to several titles already available on other supports. Third-party publishers mobilized to deliver top-quality ports of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Finally, Nintendo has even had the luxury of securing an exclusive game from FromSoftware. This partnership will materialize with The Duskbloods, a new connected Souls-like game that will only be released on Switch 2 in 2026!
