In the end, no retailer will have to wait until April 8, 2025 to open pre-orders for the Switch 2.
In the UK, the USA, France and Spain all major retailers are now offering the console for sale. The console is available on its own for €469.99, or as a bundle with Mario Kart World (via a download code) for €509.99.
At the time of writing, no stock shortages have been reported.
