Yoko Shimomura is a Japanese composer who has worked on some of the biggest video game licenses ever. She has composed music for the Kingdom Hearts series, Super Mario RPG and the Mario & Luigi franchise.
But Shimomura is best known for his work on the Street Fighter 2 soundtrack. And it so happens that 34 years after the release of the second entry, the composer is back with an unreleased track for Street Fighter 6. Edge of Triumph will be added on June 5 to the major update for the sixth game.
This patch will also include Elena as a playable character and an overhaul of balancing.
