Sony has just released its latest results. In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, the manufacturer sold 18.5 million PS5s, including 2.8 million in the fourth quarter (down 1.7 million year-on-year).
Since its launch in November 2020, the PlayStation 5 has sold 77.7 million units worldwide. In the quarter from January to March 2025, 76.1 million PS5 and PS4 games were sold. The digital format accounted for 80% of sales.
Finally, the PlayStation Network now boasts 124 million monthly active players, six million more than in the same period last fiscal year.
