Leaks reported by the CentroLeaks X account suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2’s Joy-Cons could feature detachable side strips. After all, there are some accessories described as “decorative controller strips" on offer on Alibaba already at a meager $4.
These elements, designed to be attached to the sides of the Joy-Con, would let you customize the appearance of the controllers. However, it does not seem possible to change the color of the analog sticks to match them. Nintendo has yet to say anything on the matter. If it is indeed present, it would pave the way for official or third-party customization options for the Switch 2’s Joy-Cons.
