The NBCUniversal group recently detailed its various projects for release over the coming months. In the film category, we find the sequel to the excellent Super Mario Bros.
In its article, the American company noted that this second adaptation is to be called Super Mario World. However, NBCUniversal has since withdrawn its reference to the adaptation. We don’t know whether this was simply an error or a hasty statement.
This second Mario movie is due to hit cinemas in April 2026.
