The Molasses Flood studio has merged with CD Projekt RED

The Molasses Flood studio was founded back in 2014 in Boston, Massachusetts, and was acquired by CD Projekt RED in 2021. Prior to that, the studio had released The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow.
As of now, the company is working on Project Sirius, a multiplayer spin-off of The Witcher franchise. In March 2023, we learned that the project had been rebooted, with part of the staff being fired.
Now, The Molasses Flood has announced on its website that it has been absorbed by CD Projekt RED on April 1. This merger means that the legal entity no longer exists, and the Polish studio has taken over all rights and obligations. The two games designed by the studio remain available for sale, and are now published by CD Projekt.
