Aggro Crab Games, the studio behind the coop hit Peak, has reacted strongly to the release of Cliff, a clone available on Roblox.
In a message posted on X, the developers stated that they would rather players pirate their game than play this "microtransaction-riddled Roblox slip ripoff."*
Cliff borrows many elements from Peak: similar graphic style, identical gameplay mechanics… while adding in-app purchases for items such as an ice axe, a parrot companion, or a golden apple.
