While it hasn’t yet been officially announced by Sony, the 2.5D God of War spin-off has been the talk of the town for weeks. Unfortunately, it seems to have been delayed internally.
Insider and journalist Jeff Grubb stated on his podcast that he had heard of a postponement for this installment, which would take place in ancient Greece. The launch is now scheduled for 2026, not this year.
As a reminder, this Metroidvania would have us play as Deimos, Kratos’ brother.
