GEX Trilogy released on consoles and PC back on June 16, and so far it has a serious problem on Switch 2. To put it simply, the game just doesn’t work on Nintendo’s latest console.
Limited Run Games stated on X that it had submitted a patch to the Japanese brand in order to correct the problem. But due to a bank holiday weekend, validation of the patch has been delayed. Despite this, the publisher hopes it can be deployed early next week.
In the meantime, GEX Trilogy has been withdrawn from sale on the Switch 2 eShop, and will return when the patch can be applied.
