To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the franchise, Techland has decided to give Dying Light a facelift. That’s why we are getting the Retouched Update on June 26.
The developers warn that this is not a remaster, but rather some improvements to various visual aspects of the game. For example, the quality of the textures in the environments has been enhanced. The same goes for the lighting and shadows, which can be enhanced up to 8K. The soundtrack has even been enhanced with new tracks and ambiences.
All owners of Dying Light will have access to the update free of charge on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
