Naoki Yoshida spoke at a live event that was originally dedicated to Final Fantasy XIV. The man also known as Yoshi-P served as producer on the sixteenth entry in the franchise.
A few days ago, Final Fantasy XVI was released on Xbox Series. The game is now available on Microsoft’s machines, as well as on PS5 and PC. All that’s missing now is one platform.
Thus, Yoshida has presumably teased a port of Final Fantasy XVI to Switch 2, declaring that "Nintendo is the only one left" for this entry. Whether a Switch 2 version is actually technically feasible remains to be seen.
