Here’s a curious anniversary, to say the least. It’s now seven long years since Bethesda Game Studios announced The Elder Scrolls VI.
The teaser shared at the Bethesda Softworks conference at E3 2018 now boasts 19.7 million views on YouTube. After this announcement and the release of Fallout 76, the studio then went on to focus on Starfield.
Development of The Elder Scrolls VI didn’t start properly until 2023, so it’s safe to assume that it will not be released until 2027 at the earliest.
