The Bear Season 4 Release Date Confirmed For June

Order up! For the last few years, we’ve been treated with annual drops of beautifully-crafted foodie TV in The Bear, each episode its own little carefully-crafted morsel designed to deliver as much flavour as possible, all delicately balanced. (Well, Season 3 was more divisive, but still…) And service isn’t over yet. Season 4 is receiving its final garnishes and an extra sprinkling of jus right now, ahead of a summer release – and we know exactly when we’ll be feasting.

The Bear Season 4 is confirmed to arrive on Disney+ on 26 June – so there’s just over a month to go until we’re back in the kitchen with Carmy, Sydney, Richie and co. And, as with previous seasons, this one is set to drop all at once – meaning all 10 episodes will be available to binge at your pleasure. Come on though, maybe let each one sit on the taste buds for a few moments before heading onto the next dish, eh?

Season 3 ended on something of a cliffhanger. Jeremy Allen White’s destructively determined Carmy had alienated his closest collaborator in his pursuit of greatness, and witnessed his mentor having to close her signature restaurant in the punishing hospitality climate; Ayo Edebiri’s Sydney felt increasingly shut out by Carmy and is contemplating an offer to start cooking elsewhere; and a decisive review from the Chicago Tribune looks set to determine whether The Bear will fly or fail. Admittedly, Season 3 was more vibes-focused than plot-heavy – it remains to be seen whether Season 4, largely shot simultaneously with the previous batch, will tweak the recipe again.

The Bear: Season 4

Here’s the official synopsis: Season 4 “finds Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich pushing forward, determined not only to survive, but also to take The Bear to the next level. With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust and overcome. This season, the pursuit of excellence isn’t just about getting better – it’s about deciding what’s worth holding on to.”

Start your bets now, too, on whether this might be the final season of The Bear – since Jeremy Allen White is a big deal (he’s playing Bruce Springsteen later this year in Deliver Me From Nowhere), Ayo Edebiri is absolutely everywhere, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is in the MCU big-leagues as the Fantastic Four’s Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. If this is the dessert course, be sure to savour every bite – and hope the show goes out on a sweet note.
