T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Plan Engagement and Intimate Wedding

*T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are poised to take a significant step forward with an engagement.
According to a source cited by Us Weekly, “an engagement is coming” and has been in the planning stages for some time. The romance between the former “Good Morning America” co-anchors began as a workplace affair, which led to their departure from GMA. Now, as they co-host their podcast, Amy & T.J., Holmes and Robach are embracing their story with transparency.
In a December 2024 episode, Robach hinted at their future, stating, “It’s not an if, it’s a when. I like that. I actually appreciate that.” Holmes echoed her enthusiasm, adding, “I say that because we are not trying to figure things out. We are not trying to see if we want to be together. We’re not trying to do a trial run to see if this thing can work. That’s not where we are. … When we are getting married, that’s going to be a byproduct of what’s happening. And it’s coming.”
Speculation about an engagement began in March 2025 when Robach was spotted at the iHeartRadio Music Awards wearing a purple stone on her ring finger. While some assumed it signaled a proposal, the insider clarified it was a promise ring, symbolizing “a sign of the next step that they will take.”
The couple is reportedly planning to share news of a formal proposal on their podcast when the moment feels right.

Looking ahead, Holmes and Robach envision a wedding that reflects their unique bond. “How they got together is not traditional, so they want the engagement and wedding this time around to be their own style — modest and simple,” the source shared. In a surprising gesture, the couple is considering inviting their ex-spouses, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue, who are now dating each other, to the ceremony.
“They want to share their vows in front of the closest people who matter to them to demonstrate how much they love each other and are committed to each other,” the insider noted.
Beyond their personal milestones, Holmes and Robach are channeling their experiences into a new venture. On June 9, they launched Ask Amy & T.J., a weekly relationship advice column for Yahoo, where they tackle complex dynamics and offer candid insights.
“We’re here to be the face of ‘life is messy,’” Robach told the platform, adding, “Love is messy.”
