It seems as though nowadays we can’t move without news of a fresh collab joining the party. Might be confirmation bias, of course, but it’s always worth a second glance when we see something outside the usual crop of anime and other series making an appearance. Which is exactly the case with Summoners War: Sky Arena and Tekken 8!
Set to team up starting July 30th, Tekken 8 and Summoners War: Sky Arena will collab to bring characters from the hit fighting game to the world of Summoners War. Fans can expect to see everyone from Jin Kazama to Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams and Hwoarang.
Oh, but we can’t forget about the man himself, because fans will also get the chance to get their hands on a free five-star Heihachi Mishima. All of these come with voiced skill activations and animated effects for you to enjoy. That’s all on top of minigames, crossover illustrations and a new teaser video!
It’s certainly not out there for Tekken 8 to team up with Summoners War, but not entirely expected either. I think we’ve all just gotten used to high-profile anime making an appearance in many top mobile releases, so this is still a pleasant surprise.
