Square Enix is holding a special event for the 15th anniversary of NieR on April 19

Back in April 2010, NieR made its appearance with a first game that got a rather lukewarm reception at the time. It wasn’t until NieR: Automata in February 2017 that the franchise got the recognition it deserved. We also got a mobile game, NieR Reincarnation, in 2021.

Square Enix wants to celebrate the franchise’s first 15 years in style with an special event on April 19 at 10 a.m. London time on YouTube. There will be a mini concert there.

Producer Yosuke Saito is scheduled to attend the event, as well as director Yoko Taro, game designer Takahisa Taura and composer Keiichi Okabe.
