Soulja Boy on Losing End of Sexual Battery Case – Ordered to Pay Accuser $4 Million! ‘Crank That’ Rapper Responds | WATCH
*Soulja Boy is coming out on the losing end after a woman accused him of sexual battery.
Sandra Rose reports the “Crank That” rapper was found liable by a Santa Monica, California jury on April 10 for intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and failure to pay wages. As a result, Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay $4 million to his accuser.
Although the accuser gained the victory, the payment fell short of the $73.6 million she originally asked the jury to award her.
The jury in the case did not find Soulja Boy liable for false imprisonment or creating a hostile work environment, according to XXL magazine.
News of the entertainer’s court drama marks his latest headline grabbing legal situation.
In 2023, a Los Angeles judge granted a motion from Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Myers to seize his luxury vehicles and sports cars to settle a previous lawsuit she filed against him.
Myers sued the rap star for pistol-whipping her during an incident at his home on February 1, 2019. Detailing what happened, Myers told police Soulja Boy held a gun to her head and told her she was going to die.
She went on to allege that he told her to perform a sex act on his assistant to gain her freedom. After conceding to Soulja Boy’s demands, Myers said she was dragged by her hair inside the house where the incident took place and forced to take two showers to eliminate evidence of what happened.
Although Soulja Boy was later arrested for the incident, he posted bond.
