We are learning more and more details about the console after the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct. In addition to the very high prices, the console will have another nasty surprise in store for fans of physical games.
We’ve just learned that not all games will necessarily be included on their cartridge. In some cases, it will have only a license key on the physical medium. You’ll need a lengthy download to play the game, and the card will still have to be inserted into the console to launch the software.
The game cards will be different from the classic ones, which will contain the game itself.
