The Gamescom organizers expect record publisher attendance for this year's edition

Gamescom organizers are reporting “record” interest from companies in the industry for the 2025 edition. The number of exhibitors is said to be 11% up on last year.

New names have been added to the list of participants: Electronic Arts, Konami, SEGA, Netflix, CI Games, GIANTS Software, Kalypso, Marvelous Europe, LEGO, Paramount and Tencent Games.

These join previously confirmed publishers such as 2K, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Blizzard, Capcom, CD Projekt Red, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Xbox and The Pokémon Company.

The Opening Night Live will take place on August 19, hosted once again by Geoff Keighley.
