Most shockingly of all, she allegedly bit a restaurant manager trying to subdue her, causing bite wounds to his head and face, along with bruising to his right forearm.

When a female staff member eventually approaches the woman with a coat in hand, she begins shouting and swearing at her, as well as at the others in her vicinity.

The woman’s frenzied behaviour escalates as she begins charging at a row of wall-mounted airport screens, hurling her mobile phone at them one by one until they shut down due to the damage.

It is unclear when authorities step in, as the woman then appears out of frame in the footage.

No official statement was released by airport authorities.

Local police say they were called for a “welfare check”, where they determined the woman had suffered a “manic episode”.

Police say the woman was originally found behind an emergency exit door at Gate D1 of Terminal D at DFW with blood on her, which medics later confirmed was not her own.

The woman, who was initially placed on a mental health hold, is currently facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
