SEGA plans to release fewer games next fiscal year

This current fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, SEGA has released more than seven full-length games, including Metaphor: ReFantazio, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Sonic X Shadow Generations.
A very prolific year which will prompt the Japanese publisher to ease off the pace during the fiscal year running from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. During this period, SEGA has specified that the company will release fewer games.
"The plan is currently being formulated, but we expect the volume of new titles in Full Game to be lower than this fiscal year."
However, SEGA expects sales to remain high, thanks to the long-term sales of games that have already been released. The company also spoke of its intention to strengthen the position of Atlus, the team responsible for Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and Metaphor.
"Atlus is an important studio for us to expand Japanese IPs overseas and we think it is necessary to strengthen it, and the studios involved in the Sonic and Like a Dragon IPs are also short of staff, and we are looking to reinforce personnel through additional hiring and M&A."
