Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is swinging back into action.
Tom Holland is suited up and ready to shoot some webs in his fourth solo outing as everyone’s favorite wall crawler. But just because he has done this before doesn’t mean fans should expect more of the same: In freshly released behind-the-scenes footage at his first day back on set, Holland teases that he “feels different” ahead of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
“It’s day one. My fourth ever day one on Spider-Man,” Holland begins in the minute-long video. “You know, it’s funny, putting the suit on… It feels different this time, somehow.”
The video features the actor sporting a sleek new suit and looking out at a crowd gathered to watch the MCU flick film in Glasgow. “It’s also the first time we’ve ever had fans on set for day one,” he continues. “So it’s really exciting to share this with them.”

Showing off some sweet moments from his first taste of shooting, the video then shows Holland high-fiving fans, posing for photos with them, and even lifting a young one into the air.
“I’m just going to do my best,” he concludes. “Hopefully get it right. No pressure.”
A later clip sees Holland in full Spidey rescue mode, standing atop a tank that seems to be careening down a street. After what looks like a wrap on the dynamic scene, he declares, “That felt sick!”
The video is the latest in a recent series that has teased the highly-anticipated fourth Spider-Man film. The prior teasers offered a glimpse of Holland’s new suit, which boasts a much larger spider insignia and raised lines of black webbing. The blue sections of the costume are also a darker shade and more reflective than earlier versions of it.
Brand New Day marks Holland’s seventh film as Peter Parker since he debuted as the character in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. In addition to appearing in the two-part Infinity Saga finale — 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame — he starred in three solo Spider-Man movies: 2017’s Homecoming, 2019’s Far From Home, and 2021’s No Way Home.
When we last saw Spider-Man, he had saved the multiverse by allowing the entire world to forget the existence of his true identity. Though Peter came out victorious, No Way Home ended on a somber note, with him visiting his girlfriend, MJ (Zendaya), and his BFF, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), neither of whom remember who he is.

As the memory reset also stripped Peter of his access to the Avengers and the high-tech resources left by his mentor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), he will be back to superhero basics in Brand New Day.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed Short Term 12 and Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the film will also star Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Michael Mando as the Scorpion, and Stranger Things star Sadie Sink in an undisclosed role. Zendaya and Batalon are both signed on to reprise their roles.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the next MCU flick on the docket, landing in theaters on July 31, 2026.
