After the extraordinary God of War in 2018, Cory Barlog set out to design a new game. In parallel, Santa Monica Studio developed and launched God of War Ragnarök in November 2022.
According to rumors, Barlog is working on a new license. On ResetEra, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier revealed that this mysterious game is well underway.
"Cory Barlog’s game is the next big project for SSM (Santa Monica Studio). The last time I talked to someone about it (a month or two ago), it was going well."
