*Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour may have only just begun, but her 7-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter, has already captivated fans with a stage presence well beyond her years.

Making her debut on opening night, Rumi confidently walked onto the stage, complete with a playful strut that instantly reminded audiences of her big sister, 13-year-old Blue Ivy. Rumi’s moment has sparked buzz online, with fans noticing familiar choreography and mannerisms inspired by Blue, who herself was a standout during Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour. Their grandmother, Tina Knowles, confirmed the influence in a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating the younger Carter’s performance.

“RUMI HIT THE STAGE WITH A LITTLE RUNWAY STRUT 😭💅🏽 She said, ‘Oh, we walkin’? Say less,’” Knowles wrote, reposting a video of Rumi on stage. “The way she watches Blue and mirrors her every move… you can tell she’s taking notes. She doesn’t just want to join the legacy… she wants to SLAY it too!”

Knowles also revealed that Rumi had been preparing for this moment for some time. “She learned choreography and was ready,” she added. “She really did go straight out there. One day she’s gonna cut loose and walk down the runway one day you watch!! Rumi❤❤ is also a great songwriter already! She will be a force to be reckoned with just wait!❤❤

The Carter children, Rumi, Blue, and their twin brother Sir, have been steeped in their mother’s creative world from the beginning. Beyoncé shared in an interview with GQ that her children are regularly by her side, whether in the studio or at rehearsals.

“My kids come with me everywhere I go,” Beyoncé said. “They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography.”

She praised Blue’s discipline and artistry, noting her daughter’s drive to perform came from within. “Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three,” Beyoncé said. “She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously and she earned it.”

The Cowboy Carter Tour, spanning 32 shows across the U.S. and Europe, kicked off April 28 in Los Angeles and will wrap up with a grand finale in Las Vegas on July 26. Stops include Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, a Fourth of July show in Washington, D.C., and international dates in Paris and London.

Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster, as well as resale platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek. Fans can also try their luck in the Marriott Bonvoy “Bring Your Beyhive” sweepstakes, which offers six concert tickets, hotel rooms, and a glam squad experience. Entries for the contest close on June 9, and members can redeem loyalty points for exclusive concert packages, including a Paris show launching May 13.
