The success of Arcane might mean that League of Legends could get another adaptation soon enough. Indeed, on its social networks, the Vietnamese government has hinted at a rather unexpected project.
Riot Games will shoot a live-action League of Legends series in Vietnam later this year. The series in question is likely to consist of nine episodes. Executive producer Rose Lam, who has been involved with The Last of Us and Altered Carbon series, has met with the Vietnamese Minister of Culture.
All that remains now is to wait for an official announcement, which shouldn’t be too far off.
