Charles Guillemot, son of Ubisoft's CEO, is back to the company

Ubisoft is a family matter. Yves Guillemot, who has been at the helm of the publisher since 1986, will be working with his son in this adventure once again.
Charles Guillemot, who had left the publisher in 2021, marks his return to Ubisoft this week. An internal e-mail sent to Insider Gaming reveals that he will head up the Transformation Committee alongside Marie-Sophie de Waubert. This committee is made up of around ten members whose aim is to guide the evolution of the company’s brands.
A decision that has not gone down well with the French company’s teams. Indeed, some voices criticize Charles Guillemot’s real skills and his ability to breathe new life into Ubisoft. Some employees accuse the members of the committee of being responsible for the current state of the company.
