Raven-Symoné Says THIS About Orlando Brown Name-Dropping Her
While chattin’ with Jason Lee, the HU founder asked Raven-Symoné what is Orlando’s “infatuation” with her. As mentioned, he’s made some WILD claims about Rae over the years, including intimacy allegations. Then, there’s the huge portrait tattoo of the actress on his chest and neck, which he debuted in 2018. Miranda Maday hopped in when the tatt came up!
“I have to be really careful about what I say about Orlando because…Orlando is very smart. His tongue quips are so much faster than mine, and I know that. So, he can come off the dome quick like…like that. He’s been doing that since I’ve known him and I’ve known him a long time. My quips come three weeks later,” Raven-Symoné said.
For those who might need a refresher, Raven-Symoné and Orlando Brown were portrayed besties, Raven and Eddie, on ‘That’s So Raven’ from 2003 to 2007. When Rae rebooted the series, former co-star Anneliese van der Pol joined the cast. Orlando Brown, however, wasn’t tapped to return for the adult Eddie role.
In her interview with Jason Lee, Raven explained that she has known Orlando Brown through plenty of his life seasons. She also said that her bank account is secured enough not to need the exposure from reacting to his wild stories.
“I know also that I know his family, I know him, and I knew him before drugs, after drugs, during God, not during God, and he was a comedic genius. And he’s still making people laugh…at others’ expenses. And I’m secure enough in my bank account, and my life that I don’t have to dig that deep down to take it, and I also don’t defend myself about anything because that’s his experience. Only way people are going to know if it’s true or not is if I corroborate. And I plead the fifth, period.”
Rae added that while people “think” they know Orlando, she ACTUALLY does. “I worked with him for seven years, day in, day out. That’s nothing,” Raven-Symoné said.
