Blizzard made a stark observation during its latest campfire chat (or developer diary) devoted to Diablo IV. According to the American company, players are progressing too quickly in the game.
In the current season, users are taking half as long to gain levels as in previous seasons. Diablo IV is even considered “too easy” by its creators, who will soon be putting an end this situation.
From Season 8 onwards, progress will be slower until a new character reaches level 25. In addition, rare loot (such as legendary items) will be harder to find, and the highest difficulty will be harder to reach.
The next season of Diablo IV is not scheduled to start until April 29.
