The hit mobile-only couch co-op release Back 2 Back by Two Frogs Games is set to receive a major new content update with version 2.0. Promising a whole host of additions that’re set to deepen its progression, this update will be coming in June of this year. Let’s break down what’s coming in version 2.0 of Back 2 Back.
To start, the biggest addition coming in the so-called Big Update is that of new cars. Each car will have three levels of upgrades for you to work your way through, with each level unlocking a new passive ability – be that the ability to take less damage from lava puzzles, or even an extra life to further your run.
Speaking of which, if you’ve been getting a little tired of the current crop of levels, the team at Two Frogs are bringing a new, summer-themed map to Back 2 Back. They also tease new seasonally themed maps coming to Back 2 Back in the near future too.
Stick ’em up
Last, but by no means least, a new feature is being added to Back 2 Back in the Big Content Update. This June you’ll be able to open up new booster packs to collect stickers that can be used to decorate your car, ranging from regular and all the way to shiny.
Back 2 Back certainly stood out for its unusual adoption of the couch co-op genre on mobile. So it’s good to see that we’re going to be getting more content updates for the foreseeable future to help give it further longevity.
