PS5 is provisionally priced at launch price

Over the generations, manufacturers have become accustomed to gradually lowering the price of their consoles, which made it easier for those less fortunate to buy the machine after several years.
Alas, this is no more, and has since been replaced by a gradual increase in prices. Since its launch in November 2020, the PS5 with drive has cost €50 more, and the PS5 without drive has seen its price rise by €100.
This summer, and for a limited period, the standard PS5 is back at its original price. The console is available at €399.99 without the player and €499.99 with the player from all major retailers. So we’re not necessarily talking about a real promotion.
