ARM announces Accuracy Super Resolution, an upscaling technology based on FSR 2

ARM has introduced Accuracy Super Resolution (ASR), a new upscaling solution for low-power devices. Based on AMD’s FSR 2, it differs from Qualcomm’s GSR, which uses the first FSR.
ASR will be open-sourced and deployed as plugins for Unreal Engine and Unity by the end of 2025. ARM claims a performance gain of up to 53% with the Immortalis G720 GPU, accompanied by a 20% reduction in power consumption.
The technology should be compatible with many smartphones and laptops equipped with Qualcomm SoCs.
