Those of you who were hoping to be able to pick up your dose of Hogwarts Legacy with some all-new content are going to be very disappointed! Last October, we learned that a there was a Definitive Edition in the works.
According to this report, this expansion was to bring between 10 and 15 hours of additional content, with a new story, side quests and cosmetic items to get. The Definitive Edition was also to be sold as DLC for owners of the base game and in a bundle with Hogwarts Legacy.
Alas, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier announced in an article that the project has been cancelled by Warner Bros this week as part of a major restructuring of the company’s gaming division.
The publisher has declined to comment.
