TikTok star Khaby Lame was detained by ICE.
According to TMZ on Monday, the 25-year-old social media personality was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Friday, June 6. Why? He reportedly overstayed the terms of his visa. There aren’t a lot of details at this time. However, the outlet reported that the Senegalese-Italian was granted voluntary departure the same day and returned to his home country of Italy, avoiding the deportation process.

For those who don’t know, Khaby, whose full name is Khabane Lame, is the most followed person on TikTok, with over 162 million followers. He became extremely popular on the platform by making comedic videos wordlessly reacting to ridiculous life hacks and other situational clips.
