Pokémon Go’s first Stamp Rally outside of Japan lands this September in Paris

- Pokémon Go’s first Stamp Rally outside Japan is coming to Europe!
- Head to Paris this September to collect stamps in Pokémon Go
- Also, experience an immersive physical and digital experience to celebrate the next Pokémon release
It’s a big news day for Pokémon Go, what with the upcoming Go Fest and ninth anniversary celebrations just around the corner. But for longtime fans, it’ll be the debut of a previously Japan-only event that’s the most exciting, as the first ever Go Stamp Rally outside of Japan arrives in Europe!
What is a Stamp Rally? Well, these are actually rather popular in Japan. Be it for tourism, local sporting events or promotional purposes, visitors and participants are encouraged to travel around a local area and receive stamps in a little booklet, sometimes forming a single image when overlaid.
It may all sound a bit anorak and standing on train platforms to most of us, but in Japan, for participants both young and old, these rallies are serious business with massive wait lists for some major ones, including those for Pokémon.

Now, it seems that participants in Europe will get their chance to have a go for themselves as the first Pokémon Go Stamp Rally outside of Japan will take place in and around the Westfield Forume des Halles Chatelet in Paris. From September 13th 14, fans will get the chance to participate in this and a new physical and digital immersive experience to celebrate the release of the next mainline Pokémon games.
Coming off the heels of Go Fest and some even bigger, exciting events in the works, it seems clear that Pokémon Go is getting a huge push this year for veterans and newcomers alike.
