The weather is undoubtedly hot the world over, so if you’ve been putting off heading out into the sun to grab yourself a tan, maybe a new Pokémon Go event will sway you? Yes, new Pokémon are arriving as Hisuian Zorua and their evolution makes their debut, alongside a suite of new bonuses to celebrate with the latest Ultra Unlock event!
The event will run from July 8th to 13th, and of course, the headlining additions are the aforementioned Hisuian Zorua and their evolution, Hisuian Zoroark. You’ll be able to evolve them with 50 Zorua candy, and enjoy x4 XP for catching Pokémon and x4 Stardust for catching Pokémon as part of the event.
Meanwhile, to further the Hisuian encounters, you’ll have an increased chance to run into Shiny Hisuian Voltorb and Shiny Hisuian Qwilfish. They come alongside an increased chance to encounter Shiny Unown U as part of raids. But what’s this? There are also some anomalies in space and time to contend with!

Yes, it’s not just Pokémon TCG Pocket now facing an Extradimensional Crisis. Space-time anomalies are mysterious phenomena that make an appearance during the event. They’ll let you encounter a myriad of different Pokémon, and a new collection challenge tasks you with catching those arising from these rifts for special rewards.
That’s on top of new Field Research tasks, new encounters with Hisuian Pokémon as part of Raids and more wild encounters with a variety of Pokémon, including Sneasel, Larvitar and Bagon! With the upcoming arrival of Zacian and Zamazenta as part of Go Fest 2025, and a whole host of other events on the way, there’s no better time than now to jump into Pokémon Go!
