Like in Bahari Bay, there are a number of statues found throughout the Elderwood in Palia. Unlike in Bahari, these statues are Umbraan Shrines. When interacted with, they ask for a specific number of Sacred Flowers, also found in the Elderwood. Fulfilling the shrine’s offering grants you various items including Grab Bags and Runestones. This is where to find all Elderwood Statues and Sacred Flowers in Palia.
Elderwood Sacred Flower Locations
There are a few different ways to obtain Sacred Flowers in the Elderwood. The easiest way to obtain the plant is buying it at Tamala’s Potion Store (max of five) for 350 Infected Essence. Some quests award them when completed. They can come from Treasure Chests or drop as loot from hunting the rarest form of a creature. You can also randomly find them when exploring the different areas in the Elderwood.
Quests Awarding Sacred Flowers
Elderwood Central Stables Sacred Flower
This flower is found on a ledge in the tunnel leading out from the stables to the north. It’s sitting on a wood log stump surrounded by wooden crates.
Purple Reeds Sacred Flower
When you leave the stables to the south, take a sharp right towards the pond. Go around it towards the entrance to the Red Blossom Cave. On the edge just into the water you’ll find the Sacred Flower.
De Mer Dock Sacred Flower
Along the pathway leading to Mauvais Way from the De Mer Dock stable sign is a partially sunken boat. Jump over to it to find another Sacred Flower.
Mauvais Way Sacred Flower
The easiest way to reach this flower is to go to the Shmole hunting area, then follow the top ledge towards De Mer Dock. A small cave will appear with an Elderwood Furniture piece in front of it. The flower is on a wooden bench on the right side of the cave.
The Fallen Aqueduct Sacred Flower
You’ll need to launch yourself off the topmost platform of a large tree in the Deep Woods to reach this wooden ledge in the Fallen Aqueduct. The flower is near the campfire.
Elderwood Umbraan Shrine Locations
Statues that you interact with in the Elderwood, but don’t fulfill the offering for, are marked on your map with a statue icon. Once you give the shrine the required Sacred Flowers, the icon disappears. This allows you to keep track of the ones you still need to pay respect at, without visiting all the shrines you’ve already completed.
Elderwood Central Stables Umbraan Shrine 1
The first statue you may find in the Central Stables is relatively easy to reach. Climb up the netting to the upper pathway. Follow it until you come across the shrine. Offer it a single Sacred Flower to get an Artifact Mystery Bag in return.
Elderwood Central Stables Umbraan Shrine 2
This shrine is near the waterfall in the stables. You can climb the stone wall on the opposite side of the river from the Relic Crafting stations. Or you can follow the upper walkway to the ledge and jump over to it.
Honeymiel Slope Umbraan Shrine
You can find this statue the first time you enter the Elderwood. From the entrance area to Bahari Bay, so south towards the southeastern part of this land. Don’t cross any bridges or glide over the river. Climb the ledge to the very top and then follow it to the end. The statue is hidden in a small nook around a slight bend in the wall at the end of the ledge. You can also head to the clearing below that’s filled with Ancient Trees and Muujin (typically) and climb up the left side of the stone wall to reach the shrine. It asks for two Sacred Flowers.
Deep Woods Umbraan Shrine 1
While this is technically in the Deep Woods on the map, the statue is found in the purple reeds through the southern exit of the Elderwood Central Stables. It’s up on a small ledge in the middle of the area and blends in quite well with the reeds around it. You need to give Sacred Flower x2 for this offering and you’ll get back a single Starstone Mystery Bag.
Deep Woods Umbraan Shrine 2
The easiest way to get to this statue is to fast travel to the Deep Woods stables. The shrine is on the mushroom platform the next level above the stables and to the left. Two Sacred Flowers earn you a Starstone Mystery Bag.
Lilac Cave Umbraan Shrine
When facing the staircase (going up) in Lilac Cave, take the path to the right. Climb both ledges in front of you to reach the statue. Giving it one Sacred Flower nets you one Artifact Mystery Bag.
Fallen Aqueduct Umbraan Shrine
Head to the southeast part of the Elderwood map then follow the edge of the Fallen Aqueduct until you come across a break in the ruined wall. Go around to the opposite side to fine the shrine hiding behind some bushes. Give it Sacred Flower x1 to gain Artifact Mystery Bag x1.
Jenesse Pass Umbraan Shrine
This shrine is hiding in a cave in the southeastern part of Jenesse Pass. The entrance isn’t all the way down at water level. It’s across from the central landmass where the wood beams are sticking out of the rock. You get Artifact Mystery Bag x2 when you give Sacred Flower x2.
De Mer Dock Umbraan Shrine
The De Mer Dock statue is found on the pier walkway not far from the stable sign. The statue section is a little higher than the walkway the sign is on. You can jump when the pier gains a second walkway to the right or when the main path goes upwards.
Red Blossom Cave Umbraan Shrine 1
The easiest way to reach this statue is to fast travel to the De Mer Dock stables. Head east to go to Red Blossom Cave. When you enter, climb up the netted climbing wall. At the top, climb the stone wall. The statue is on the ledge to your right, so you’ll need to climb in that direction. Offering a single Sacred Flowers grants you an Artifact Mystery Bag.
Red Blossom Cave Umbraan Shrine 2
This statue is found in the southeast part of Red Blossom Cave. It’s in the area with Shmole hunting spots up on a ledge. This statue requires one Sacred Flower. When given, it rewards you with Mining Mystery Bag x1 and Fishing Mystery Bag x1.
Mauvais Way Umbraan Shrine 1
This statue is relatively easy to see. It’s out in the open in the circular ruins between Mauvais Way and De Mer Dock. It needs one Sacred Flower and gives a Finishing Runestone.
Mauvais Way Umbraan Shrine 2
This shrine is hidden between the roots and ruins of the tree. There are holes on either side that you can enter through. The statue is next to ruined wall. You’ll get Artifact Mystery Bag x1 when the single Sacred Flower is offered.
Mauvais Way Umbraan Shrine 3
This statue is near the water where you can hunt Shmoles. Down on a lower ledge, you can walk over a large rock expanse then drop down to interact with it. Walk slowly as you can launch yourself into the water. One Sacred Flower is rewarded with one Artifact Mystery Bag.
Mitana Grove Umbraan Shrine 1
This shrine is hiding behind the waterfall in Mitana Grove. On the right side of the waterfall there’s a ledge that leads behind it and to the statue. Give it a single Sacred Flower to get an Enchanting Runestone in return.
Fulfilling Sacred Flower offerings at all 15 Umbraan Shrines in the Elderwood earns you the Paying Respects achievement. This rewards 30 Renown and a Finishing Runestone, needed to fully upgrade Relics.
